Music in Worship

BCMC is not meeting in person during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are hoping to be able to meet in person again in the new year – 2021. During this time of the Pandemic in 2020, BCMC’s worship services are on-line with music by different groups each Sunday.

Leaders at BCMC strive to create thoughtful, coordinated worship services which use sacred and classical music led by several talented choirs and gifted individuals!

Junior (5-8th grade) and Cherub (Pre K-4th grade) Choirs will practice Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:15 pm. Chancel Choir will practice Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.

Menno Ringers will practice from 7:15 to 7:45 pm and Chancel Bells will practice from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.

“next to the Word of God, music deserves the highest praise…” Martin Luther

Director Bill Eash on Chancel Choir: “The Chancel Choir is a dedicated group of church musicians committed to enriching the worship experience at Bethel College Mennonite Church. Ranging in ages from 17 – 85, the choir seeks to provide a welcoming, inter-generational music experience for anyone interested in singing. In addition to singing twice monthly in the worship service, the choir sings at the annual Christmas eve service. Occasionally combining forces with the Cherub and Youth choirs, the Chancel Choir helps to celebrate Easter, All Saints Day and World Communion Sunday. Come and participate by adding music to the Word of God.”
